Personally, I think it should be mandatory for bass players to play with their fingers, it just makes playing bass more original and awesome.

Exactly man haha. It doesn't matter what you play with as long as you're comfortable with it. This guy's just not representing pickers very well albeit his cool last name. It's a valuable skill to be able to use both picks and fingers.

NO playing with your fingers is the only way. This guy does not seem that good but the bass is sweet!

I stopped playing bass with a pick a year ago. Its so much more fun to play with your fingers... and it scares people when they see your fingers flying everywhere

It doesn't matter if you use a pick as long as it's because you prefer the sound. People should to what they want to get the tone they want. I personally use my fingers because I prefer the tone it gives me.

naaa, every show I have played at, I was the only bassist playing with my fingers. In a way, playing with your fingers EFFICIENTLY is unique
