It requires the same skill to play anyways... powerchords only... can't believe that doesn't get lame for these bands!

I like the sound....

sometimes rockin out to power chords on stage is more fun than technical riffs that you have to stand still for. at least with power chords you're free to run around, jump around, and have fun with it... you have greater stage presence

they actually do, ive seen them a few times and their show is very fun.

i do think that they are MUCH more talented than they write for. especially ben, their bass went out, and instead of stopping, he just soloed for a few minutes, and it was actually pretty good.

Sad too. I used to LOVE this band. Their first album and Collide were worlds above their newer stuff.

Meh, the closest they came to metal was Collide. And...I feel they've kinda been shirking the Jesus lately.

you sir are doing it wrong! xD
The Almost is NOT metal....I believe that As I Lay Dying or Haste The Day would work better there =P

Yes! I'm excited, i got it 100% correct, well, actually, i never tried using an A-shape barre chord, no biggie.

I wouldnt call them metal (based on their last 2 CDs), they do hard rock and lots of acoustic songs.
