The 8th chords seems like an awkward stretch to me... Is the diagram correct? You don't seem to be doing that stretch in the video... Also, the available diagram is different from the one you show us, Pick...

Awesome, I have been wanting to learn a little about fingerpicking.

Very nice Pick.

Blackbird is a great choice. After you guys master the basic song structure, i found places where i could sneak in more than just the drone "G" note in the finger picking, just something to play with.

I noticed. Pick's pattern he shows in the video is vertical, in the word file it's horizontal. It doesnt matter that much though I think.

You either wait for how long it takes, or buy new faster internet. Either way it's you that's at fault for not downloading it, there's no magical way to make it work for people with shitty internet.

I love to play finger picking style and actually prefer it to using a pic. I need to see the video but am sure it is nice work as usual. Thanks. Question; is it better to have finger nails on the picking fingers or to not have nails. I use the tips of my fingers cut my nails. Which is better.

Nice vid pick, but why don't you people understand that the term "shred" covers a hell of a lot of stuff, like legato playing, right hand tapping, sweeping and alternate picking, trying to cover "shred" in one video would be futile, try asking for something more specific like legato, tapping or alternate picking...speaking of which, tapping would be a good lesson to do

A basic tapping lesson has already been covered. Maybe something about alternate picking would be nice. I'm not even comfortable using a pick as of now... So I guess I'd be more than happy!

Sweet movie. Great help for begginners. I think alot of us using this site however are at least a little more advanced. Pick, I think you should develop one technique, such as soloing and make consecutive movies that potentially build us up past begginner level stuff. You've got great 2 soloing movies but i would really like to see more though. Thanks for the movies and rock on!

I agree, an alternate picking video would be nice. I can't believe how much I suck at doing alternate picked triplets at a normal tempo. Maybe just a video on different picking techniques.

I overall lesson is what I meant, like going through the basic ideas, the chugga chugga palm muting rhythms and such, composing ideas for shred, solo ideas, you could touch on each subject instead of going into detail.

I know you mentioned your limited too what you can learn in 15 minutes so does that mean we can expect Part 2 sometime in the future? Keep the Beatles songs coming too

I have always wanted to learn Blackbird but all the tabs I have tried just seemed over my head, you just made it clear, GREAT STUFF, now I just need to practice.
