No, when practicing sweep picking you have to ue a lot of gain. Because otherwise you won't hear all the parasite sounds that you must impreatively avoid when playing sweeps.

you're both right and wrong, you should practice on both to make sure you can play arpeggios with efficiency whether with gain or without

the dude isn't schooling on real arpeggios. did you not read the lesson preface? ... he's demonstrating an exercise to develop the dexterity to prep. so get it straight and shush up mr.mean mjazz

1 that is a fantastic lesson i sweepick a lot and that helped me get quicker and when he says that its not a chord it actually is it g12# i think or maybe a diminished g chord idk for sure but i know its a g chord i know it is lol
