Modern Rock n Roll is missing one thing. Energy. That is what this band has. The Product Formed in late 2008 have worked hard to release their debut e.p. "Break The Silence." Signing a record deal and being featured on ITunes, WindowsMedia as well as AolMusic and countless other sites, The Product is ready to be delivered. Check them out on myspace to listen to “Break The Silence” and other tracks off their E.P.

Break The Silence

Written and Recorded By The Product at Wall Of Sound Studio.

Guitar Tablature

-We play a ˝ step down and in “drop d” so the tuning is as follows:

*NOTE* To minimize confusion we call the chords that we play by the position… not the pitch, meaning we call the 7th fret chord “A” when in reality it is actually “A flat”
(haha at least we are ATTEMPTING to minimize confusion)

zoomzoom,

Not everyone wants to shred and not everyone is as advanced as you. I really like this song and I enjoy playing songs that are extremely complicated. Complication does not always = Greatness. Some of the best songs ever wrote are three chords .

There is no way they can be the greatest songs ever.

And the boy is trying to point out that even though some people might consider this to be good, there is absolutely no need to make a lesson about a song that is made purely out of powerchords. In fact, i'd advise beginners to tab it out themselves and develop a musical hearing.

I can see your point, but I believe you aren't actually listening to the whole song. There is a ton of layer guitar playing going on through the verses and choruses. Some of that is actually pretty complicated. I dunno I guess I prefer a song to be more about the song and less about who has the greatest balls in guitar playing.

yeah thats actually exactly where i was getting at. i wasnt bashing the song or the playing abilities of the musicians in the vid or anyone who cares to learn their music. Its just better to try to figure these simple things out by yourself and i find it completely useless for an instructional vid. sorry for the misunderstanding.

Carpediem2 :

I was the old guitarist for this band. The layer guitar is my recordings on there. there is no complicated rythms or anything to this song. Youre right where a song doesn't need complicaed parts to be good but you also dont need a video to learn the song. It's perfect for ear training and having beginners learn how to play..... it's not a great song anyway :p
