WORST LESSON I HAVE SEEN. That is a mockery and misinformation of Chinese and Indian scales. Sounds nothing like them. He is misguiding people with his own lack of awareness. Please check this song out to be clear on what I mean: Mother Jane - Broken. Wait for the solo. Now that is Indian!

I would also recommend Mother Jane - Mindstreet for some good guitars on Indian Scales.

This isn't nearly as racist as I was expecting. He doesn't call them Chinese Food and Indian Food 'cause they're from China or India, it's 'cause one sounds 'sweet' and the other sounds 'spicy'.

There aren't any scales to be invented. I like these guys that "invent" scales. I guess it's cool that you "come up with it" on your own....but...they're all taken, actually.

Good lesson. I don't need theory that much, I want to hear the sound and the feel. And he thaught that very good IMO.
Besides Buz and the other Unearth-guitarist (Sorry, forgot the name) are pretty good players. Check out the solo of the chosen by them.

Wow. This guy is incredibly uninformed, and his lesson has nothing to do with how scales are constructed or understood in Chinese or Indian classical music, and not to mention is more than slightly racist.

He did "create" them and he doesnt claim to. He just said it sounded cool and he calls them "sweet" and "spicy" or like chinese and indian food. We all call stuff different names but no one claims theft of material. Yea he's kinda clueless at theory but quit jumping down his throat about it.

One he calls chinese because it's sweet sounding, and the other indian because it's spicy. In no way is this offensive.
