Adam Dutkiewicz is pretty much living the dream. While not performing as a guitarist for the Grammy-nominated quintet Killswitch Engage, Dutkiewicz is also a sought-after producer who has worked with everyone from Every Time I Die to All That Remains.
His latest endeavor has been playing on and co-producing Killswitch’s 5th studio release record, a self-titled album that was the band’s highest-charting release to date. Dutkiewicz took time to talk with UGTV about the new record and why you won’t necessarily be seeing more covers in the vein of “Holy Diver.â€
It actually took some time for me to like their new album. At the begining i wasn´t pleased at all with their new sound. But after a few hours of carefull listening to Killswitch Engage new sound, I actually started to like it.
seeing them play at mayhem this year was very nice. only band that used pyro (except for slayer burning their logo). adam is definately what brings the character to the band, dancing around on stage and just rocking.
