A strong work ethic seems to finally be paying off for Rev Theory (formerly known as Revelation Theory).

The quintet has been around since 2002, paying their dues by touring endlessly or handing fliers outside of night clubs - tactics that are now yielding results.

In the past few years Rev Theory has landed cushy tours with the likes of Evanescence, Saliva, and Seether, and their single “Hell Yeah” was named the theme song for WWE One Night Stand 2008.

When Ultimate-Guitar caught up with Rev Theory at Kansas City’s massive Rockfest event (over 50,000 attended), they discussed the new video for “Hell Yeah” and their songwriting approach to the new album Light It Up.

I saw these guys opening for shinedown and hadnt heard of them beforem, but they rocked. I would have been completely satisfied if they had been headlining. met the drummer after the show and he seemed like a really cool guy.

There first album is really good.If u wanna listen to a good song from them listen to slowburn but they were called revelation theory then
