^^ As a slash fan I would say he's introducing newer models coz he's always tweaking them and making them better.

As a realistic person I would say he's just earning more money and there's nothing wrong with that. He's a long way from ever selling out. lol...

Slash is THE man, in the genre of music he plays, of course.
He comes up with some of the most beautiful, powerful licks.

Selling out would imply giving up your musical integrity for money. Just getting famous and earning lots of money for playing music doesn't make you a sell-out.

Does anyone else find it funny that he seemed to be trying to scratch his head through his top hat? Its like he wears that hat so much now its just become a part of him and his awesomeness. I did really laugh at the gay bands comment though, and its definitely true.

how does manufacturing a line of guitars not count as selling out? that has to do with making good music right?

Slash is definately not a sell-out
incase you didnt know, his 1st signature guitars were produced by gibson without his knowning. obviously, now thats the sig model is out he'd want to at least better a guitar that carries his name and better it for the people who will be playing it

i really liked when slash was describing how all these other gay bands were all glam him and izzy and the rest of the guns were like the punks of the l.a. scene during that time. It goes to show they that their music was all them and their attitude not just bullsh!t

I love how slash that they are gay bands, yet he tried out for poison and they picked C. C. over him.
i love slash and that made me laugh but if he had made it then wouldnt he be in a gay band?

Slash is such a cool guy.

But as far as the sell-out thing goes, I have two words: Guitar Hero.

Slash is a guitarist therefore having his own signature guitars stands to reason. If he had is own brand of cars or cigarette lighters or something like that, that would be selling out. If you had the chance to have your own guitar made especially for you to you exact specs and how you wanted your guitar to feel and sound, wouldnt you jump at the chance? Gibson are the ones who sell them to everyone else not Slash
