Yes, true. The thing is though, and this is just my opinion, humor and metal don't really mix. It usually comes off sounding like a novelty act..... like Tenacious D with heavy distortion and double bass.

Well, listen to Strapping Young Lad, those songs are frickin hilarious. Then theres System (I consider them Metal) and thier songs are pretty damn funny sometimes. And one thing I noticed bout band interviews is that the band is always clueless and stare round alot or talk alot bout things that dont make since.

Devin Townsend is a rare exception. The big difference between him and a lot of bands that attempt to be "funny" is that he doesn't seem to go way out of his way to accomplish it.

We do have video lessons. On the left hand side there's a section where it says "video lessons"

Haha i met ETID earlier this month at SOTU. They were really nice guys, funny as hell.

Good god Andy is ****ing HILARIOUS, I saw him in MN and he played bass with Chimaira (Along with Beefcake and others) since Jim wasn't able to play.

funny dudes, but hes right when he says darkest hour would be the dudes to talk to. on SOTU they are probably some of the better/best guitarists there. these guys are good but not like gods or anything.
