The Red Chord’s latest album Prey For Eyes could easily be described as musically intense, and you might expect the deathcore band to be a bit intimidating behind the scenes as well.

But when Ultimate-Guitar reporter Amy Kelly met up with the Massachusetts band at one of their shows with Converge, there was rarely a sentence that went by without some sort of witty one-liner or remark.

It’s hard to say how many questions were truly answered during our chat with The Red Chord, but even the oddest moments of the interview were still highly entertaining.
