The internal battery died, it kept track of the time.

And yeah it eventually happened/will happen to all of them, though the battery can be replaced.

I got platinum, really enjoy it - so much to do and the nostalgia is amazing! I agree thought, I searched for how to catch shiny pokemon after hearing this apparently they are in the new ones at a 1/89,000 chance of appearing

Really funny, and also emotional. All those childhood memories with Pokemon... People always say video games lead children to violence. I remember we had a lot of great times together, playing with this.

Gold / Silver were the greatest thing ever, except for that rotten save battery
But now I have SoulSilver on my DSi, still enjoying it and a huge relief after the those huge letdowns that were Ruby/Saphh and Platinum/Pearl.

Awsome, I play Heartgold all day and then see this! I like the 8-bit techno, especially when it actually incorperated music from pokemon. I like all the Pokemon games, my favorites are the ones that can be played on a GBC (yes, that includes Gold and Silver).

Yeah, could it be that even though most people speak english, there might be some countries where people learn another language before they learn english?
