racman92 :

I liked his voice better before his balls dropped. But I'll still give the new album a listen!

RetroGunslinger :

Oh dear..... Their first album was great but it seems they have become a generic metalcore or whatever band with a stereotypical lesbian as a lead singer

flaphead325 :

They must have been rape on the way of a tour or something... they used to be ok playing commercial thrash metal...

POSTED: 06/14/2011 - 09:48 am / quote |
flaphead325 :

Funny how this band was compared to Guns n' Roses and Megadeth a few years ago. Talking about progression, haha

I didn't know Taylor Lautner played drums

xransomx72x :

bambi_slaughter :

This is all around terrible, bad music, bad vid and one of the goofiest looking bands ive seen in a while. I wonder if hell regret those giant spacers when hes 50 and his ears are nasty and deformed haha.

xandimithium :

I hope they decided to release they're shittiest songs first, otherwise it's an album I'll easily skip. I had high hopes that they would be the future of metal/rock with many great albums to come after light from above.. seems I was wrong.

POSTED: 06/14/2011 - 02:39 pm / quote |
d.c.guitar :

Definitely better when they came out, with Alex as guitar player. this shit sucks!

Bad Ass!! Can't wait to see these guys at Uproar!

Andragon :

Barely anything like metalcore. WTF are you guys talking about? He's using rough vocals not hardcore growling or whatever. Riffs are thrashy/modern metal-ish and no breakdowns whatsoever.

badguitarist13 :

Looks like the lead singer is trying to become the next Matt Heafy

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 02:50 am / quote |
guitarist41 :

They sound like BFMV now.

They used to be pretty fun, albiet really cheesy.

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 03:43 am / quote |
racman92 :

What is it with people who dont like a genre saying everyone in it sounds the same? Saying they sound like BFMV is like me saying BB King sounds like Stevie Ray Vaughan or that Allan Holdsworth sounds like Ben Monder. Come on now. They share qualities being in the same genre, but thats how all music is.
Actually, no. This doesnt even fit in lighter metalcore-ish stuff with BFMV. This is just mediocre oldschool-metal kinda stuff.

Astaldo :

fist album kicked seriously some asses! that thing is weired.. singer looks reaaally strange... dont like that style

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 07:59 am / quote |
Stevie.D_BCRich :

First album was awesome. Leaning towards old school heavy metal with a hint of the new school in it. Now they've just gone like most new young metal bands... Metal-core. I used to really like Black Tide, even paid £20 just to go see them when they supported BFMV a few years ago in London (didn't watch BFMV) but now this? Well done guys, you've lost yourselves a lot of fans today.

I like how his ear flap around.

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 11:39 am / quote |
luminothgabo :

stop living in the past they sound great Black Tide forever

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 11:40 am / quote |
slipknot836 :

Thrash metal to Metalcore? Long hair to short? This shit sucks

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 12:14 pm / quote |
Menza_ :

I will check out their new album, but I am gonna say it now, this song sucked. Heres hoping that it sounds better.

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 12:31 pm / quote |
Minivirus2 :

I read the comments but all I see is "Me typical metulzzhead and this **** isn't the exact thing I'm use to, so **** it it sucks."

God damn people. Yes, they've changed. It happens. Get over it. I prefer LFA, but this is still far better than 99% of popular music right now. Be happy it's hard rock/metal at all.

It doesn't matter. The style just completely changed, and in my opinioni it's not a positive progression. I loved the first album. It was like heavy metal/speed metal with a rocky edge and really powerful overall. It helped me develop more with metal overall and it's really really sad to see they've become 'this'.

Trendkill1138 :

Wow... aaaand back to listening to the new Machine Head single

LarryLatexx :

I don't what genre they play, good music is good music no matter the genre, but THIS song was really mediocre :< and what the **** was with those "guitar solos" ?

POSTED: 06/15/2011 - 03:21 pm / quote |
LarryLatexx :

I don't care*

:/ imo the lyrics are kinda crappy now and his old voice was better:/ but oh well...

Van$ :

oh boys! I loved his music ... that had achieved what few bands manage to ... bring back old school style but with a renewed and fresh touch ... say no evil hear that the new ... not stop supporting them because they are an example for me ... but I would like not to raise their profile by entering a genre that is already very seen and will only have very little lifetime ... I love guys!!!

hereticfive :

saw them a few years ago before the stupid gauges and they were playing metallica and maiden covers, they sounded good then
dont know about this one
