Just the fact that they won't drop when you change strings is really awesome, but that it would really increase sustain? That's very nice, but I somehow doubt it.

I can't take his acedemic credentials serously... and I wanna see some data to back that "20% more sustain!" claim.

I had a problem changing the strings on my Les Paul because it fell apart, so the next time I did it one string at a time. Then about a year later I read that Epiphone actually recommended that method. I am interested in updating to this new style of hardware though.
