Check out the Behind The Scenes footage of Four Year Strong recording their new album ‘Enemy of The World’ which is out in the UK on May 31st.
The band, Dan O'Connor (Vocals/Guitar), Alan Day (Vocals/Guitar), Josh Lyford (Vocals/Synth), Jake Massucco (Drums), and Joe Weiss (Bass), was formed in Massachusetts in 2001 after O'Conner, Day, and Massucco met through mutual friends. With influences like Lifetime, Saves the Day, Gorilla Biscuits, and New Found Glory, FYS has always strived to create music that they themselves would enjoy as listeners. Their motivation has manifested itself in a fluid mix of everything from punk pop to hardcore to indie rock.
The band worked on EOTW with legendary producer, Machine (Lamb of God, Cobra Starship, Armour for Sleep).
I like this album so much! I liked Rise more... but I'm so glad they at least put out a solid album. I was super scared they were gonna pull a "This will be the death of us"
lol go listen to god forbid - chains of humanity and the riff at about 23 is nearly identical to the opening riff on it must suck to be four year strong right now...or w/e the song is called
the recording process looks so strange when u watch some one else do it just watching someone scream into a mic in a quite room as a musician i respect the process but its still funny
