This year's National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) could easily be considered an artistic Mecca, and the numbers pulled in at this year’s show indicate the allure is growing.
With a reported 90,114 registered attendees this year, NAMM showed a three percent increase in visitors – a record for the 109-year-old show’s attendance history. Everyone from Ibanez to Dean showed off their latest products, with 1,417 exhibitors present in total.
While the trade show is not open to the public, the vendors and/or professional musicians that do make their way to the Anaheim Convention Center each January can attest to NAMM’s drool factor.
