The third annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards - the only hard-rock and heavy-metal award show in the US - were held in Los Angeles in April, with Ultimate-Guitar.com proudly being a sponsor of the the interview platform on the "Black Carpet."

In this video, Deftones main man Chino Moreno talks to Revolver TV about touring with Dillinger Escape Plan, heavy metal awards shows and tearing it up for the fans. Most Metal Athlete recipient Mike Vallely joins him for discussions on skateboarding, golden gods, and why metal fans and musicians reign supreme over punks.

Man, this interviewer is like a kid in a candy store, which is cool! Don't get me wrong, but I think they should have had someone who was a little more serious. This guy just goes on and on, also the way he pulled in Mike V during the middle of his Deftones interview was a tad rude. Just saying.

saw them the 4th of mai in Montreal, and Deftones was awesome, Dillinger was not bad, but not really my style, way to much yelling

But yes, I saw them on the first, goddamn incredible show.
