This is a pretty pointless video for AFI standards... usually they have bunches of fans, convey some secret underlying message and/or have much better effect ideas than B&W with some shit colored.
And yeah, they changed their look. They look like the Rolling Stones now... in 2009, yes, awesome. *rolls eyes*
They really change their name to NFI now... no fire inside. I mean, what is this? This garbage is a far cry from the evolution I thought they'd come to after Sing the Sorrow. It all started with that damn Carcinogen Crush song..
is it just me or does the singer's new look not fit him at all?
there other stuff like decemberunderground and sing the sorrow was better and more epic
First off, yes the music video did suck. Looked like it had a production value of about $98. But I will give them credit for changing their look and sound and trying not to sound and look like the stereotype emo band. And to all the people who hate the look and sound of the band I just have one thing to say: After a while a band needs to evolve and grow up from what genre made them famous, and while this was an O.K. start of their evolution as a band, this shows that they do want to be looked at differently and another generic emo band. So either evolve with the band or just sit in your rooms listening to "Girls Not Grey" on repeat on your iPods.

+1
the whole megaemogimmicky-look detracted from the actual music, if you ask me.
More guitar-oriented style? Go listen to Kiss & Control from Decemberunderground... or the whole album for that matter... and if you listen to just the guitar on Sing the Sorrow it's all pretty friggin legit...
Not a fan of the new stuff, they can do better, but it's not bad. And thank you Davey Havok for looking like a man now...
It is sad people think their clothes and appearance dictates the music they play. I wouldn't give a shit if they all wore clown suits and sat in a drum circle for this video. The song is good. That is all I care about. Try not to think about it too much. You either like it, or you don't like it.
All I really want to say is that their guitarist just played a legit guitar solo. Really cool how he ends those first two tapping licks with harmonics. Well written song all together too. After hearing this song I can appreciate this band more just because their talent is apparent in the songwriting and guitar work. It's not really that far off from their older stuff either if you think about it. I think the "new look" is throwing people off.

jade's guitar playing is really underrated. he does alot of the "little things" that make a good song a really catchy song.
i think the band hit their peak at sing for sorrow, but ive still enjoyed the last 2 albums.
Could you guys just listen to the song not just what they looked like in the video? cos this song is ****in great and the guitar solo is amazing, but they should have scream part
