Duff McKagan's Loaded - Flatline

This reminds me alot of the original G'N'R. The music is a little more simple and poppy, but it still has more of the feel of the orig than axl, iz, or slash are doing now. The video must be directed by the same person. It's obvious.

Duff is kinda badass. I think I like it. He's a nice singer as well.

Proof that Duff should be the lead singer for Velvet Revolver. I honestly don't like this song that much. Lyrically it's not very good. The melody is fairly catchy and the guitar work is respectable, but doesn't really jump at me. Maybe it'll grow on me xD

Sounds way too basic generic and to be honest I was expecting more.
I've always respected Duff though, he has always seemed very grouded.
Bring on VR's next album.....

Well Duff is grounded more in a punk background and thats almost the type of feel I get while listening to this. Not hardcore, but a more mellow easy listening type. I dont believe he attempts to be very technical in the way he does things. Short, simple, sweet and to the point. Thats always been classic Duff, from his bass lines to his guitar riffs to his Vocals.

To be honest, I was very skeptical about hearing about Duff's side project and how it would turn out, but hearing this new single I can give him a thumbs up. I think its a very good song, but Im not big on the video. I dont see the correlation, but I do see the badass in the video.

Anyway I must admit, this is quite good. It kinda make me wonder why they wasted time with Scott Weiland and still wasting with all these auditions

It is just another generic pop rock song with generic kindergarten solo. Two thumbs down.

kinda poppy, but come on duffs had his share of hard rock, a song like this is a good change of pace(as long as the whole album doesn't all sound the same)
