I always thought that the worst part of HIM is the music videos.
They just dont fit. Allmost every video is a performance video..
HIM is supposed to be Atmospheric so why cant they do videos with a real storyline instead of a flashy SPX and and a band..
The song still is one of the catching songs on the album so at least they picked the right song.

Yeah, his live iprovs and extended solos are great. I downloaded a full set of one of the new years concerts they do every year that was aired on some Finnish tv station. I was pretty impressed, at the time I had only played guitar 2 years and didn't know about stuff like Vai and Malmsteen, but the gig still impresses me today.

Mann....I've had this damn song stuck in my head all week hahaha. It's catchy as hell, and overall a good song.
I must agree that since Love Metal, they went downhill with Dark Light...Venus Doom is better than the last one though, and it's got a different feel to it. It's a step in the right direction, and it is a HIM reecord so...most of the songs are enojyable.
Video is boring though. : | Ville's a pretty guy, but when I watch a HIM music video it'd be nice to see something other than his mug for 3+ minutes.

This is horrible, every song has the same song structure. EVERY SONG! Even the music videos are the same, it's just the band standing around playing there song, with gothic looking fixtures in the background to look "hardcore."
Listen to The Mars Volta, Mastodon, Pelican, or Russian Circles. HIM is a perfect example of a band trying to make money, they make no effort to excel and improve as a band or even as musicians.

lol WTF? I dont know why but that made me laugh. You know I use to hate HIM so much but then I gave them one more try and listend to this song 5 times in a row. After the third i liked it and asked my friend to let me borrow his "Venus Doom" CD and I synced it to my iPod. I like them now
