Shinedown rocks, and is the most underrated band ever. The video is kind of a cliche, but great song.

Their first 2 albums were unbelievably good. This one (minus Devour) was a major disappointment.

Yeah, their new album was really disappointing to me as well. I'm not even too fond of Devour. Seriously disappointing after falling in love with Leave a Whisper and Us and Them.

yeah is one of the best vocalists around right now, their simple man cover is a great show of his voice.

Amazing vocalist, but the rest of the band is a bit meh... and they kind of sound like they don't know which audience they want to cater to, Trivium's or Hinder's.

This is the best song from them I've heard, but I haven't heard much.
He's got a good voice.

Shor-T Zero :

their first two cd's are awesome, but I just couldn't get into this one. Only songs I really like off of their latest one are "Devour" and "What a Shame". The latter is a good showcase of his voice as well.

I think you mean Hinder is trying to cater to Shinedown's audience. Hinder are such posers. They wouldn't know how to write a good song even if Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Coheed and Cambria, and Brand New were there to help them.

Shinedown is awesome! Always have been, always will be!

No I did mean what I said, Shinedown seem like they don't know if they want to be a credible metal band with a loyal fanbase of bearded headbangers smelling of beer, or if they want to be a mainstream radio rock band such as Hinder or 3 Doors Down. They'll probably have to decide on that before getting to the next level.

As someone who's been a Shinedown fan from the begining, I can honestly say I love their third CD, maybe more than the other two.

I find it surprising that people are saying they only liked Devour... I think that that song is kind of generic and one of their worst. The rest of the album is gold though.

he is okay.. but a talented vocalist is Corey Taylor. I mean have you heard all his work?
He can scream like crazy, but he can also sing VERY well. He is much more talented than this guy...

A sense a facepalm.
*smack*
Corey Taylor cant sing clean at all. He totally utterly sucks.
The tone of his voice is like an alzhaimers patient watching football. Just as exiting.

The Shindowns singer is so freaking generic that he shits bargain bin cd's.

For a good vocalist lissen to this

Ha thats funny... Im not arguing this but remember these are all OPINIONS. in songs like Vermilion part 2, snuff, dead memories, child of burning time, and circle his singing is amazing. but we are all entitled to our opinions.

Nothing compared to .45. It was worth pausing Between the Hammer & the Anvil by Judas Priest, but they have done better. Much better.

I don't really care how cliche it is, his voice amazes me no matter what. I'm sure there are bigger fans of Shinedown than I am, I just can't deny this dude the respect he deserves.

theres too much generic cliche-rock these days... it kind of pisses me off to see Shinedown have some really cool and original songs, and on the other side the songs that I seem to have heard over 9000 times (not that there bad, just really unoriginal)...

I just hope Shinedown gets there act together and starts making music that only they can make, instead of the same-old radio rock songs...

(btw; I really do not like Devour... am I ok?)

i've been a shinedown fan since the beginning and have always thought the exact same thing!
why is this and Save Me singles when great songs like Lady So Divine, In Memory, and What A Shame aren't?
