Check other songs, this guys vocals without doubt is one of the greatest rock vocals of all time, and best of modern, not because i am a fan that I will brag, check other songs like simple man, 45, or the crow and the butterfly.

Shinedown is the most underrated band of all time they only just started to get publicity, after the sound of madness, the other two albums, were better in some ways, and didnt get publicized or put onto mtv, for problems with the 45 video, Shinedown is the best.

Just like Bsho2113 said they are nearly as long, although seether was older, shinedown is unique they arent copying anyone, not in style of music, or as a band, check each album, and you will find its different, Seether is no way better then shinedown or even near them, check all seether's albums they talk about rubbish maybe except finding beauty..... The radio is full of rubbish now, modern rock is falling, only 2 band are keeping it up, alter bridge and shinedown, shinedown's lyrics has a purpose, unlike other bands, who sing and rap rock, each song in shinedown has a deep soulful meaning.

Brent smith is a 9 octave singer with a very high vocal range, he and myles kennedy are one of the most underrated great vocalists of all time. And yes its underrated band, look at nickelback and 3 days grace, and their fame, and look to shinedown, shinedown owns them....

I missed this comment, Shinedown didnt pick their single this time, the fans did through online poll on their website... Save Me, 45, Burning Bright, Lost In The Crowd, Simple Man, Second Chance, are great singles, shinedown tend to choose radio friendly songs, not their best....

9 octaves? I mean, your arguments so far have been blatantly subjective and immature, but 9 octaves, that's ridiculous. Myles Kennedy has 4 octaves, close to 5 I believe. Mariah Carey has 5. Last time I checked, there was a man who devoted his life to getting the same range as a piano, he ended at 8 octaves and I believe that's the record still. If this guy has 9 octaves, that means he could go lower and higher than a concert piano.

Well if you count falsetto a lot of guys can go very high, but you generally don't count falsetto when you talk about a man's range. Like I said, Myles Kennedy has 4 octaves, are you telling me this guy can go three octaves higher? It's an absolutely ridiculous claim any way you slice it, and I'd really doubt that this guy can go any higher than Myles at all. I'm not saying he's a bad singer, he's got good range and good technique but you're overhyping these guys and it doesn't do any good for the band or you.

i think this song gives a good beat. the other songs are quite good to be sinbgles and i think this one passes that motion.
