I've always loved these guys, Amazing guitar, fast riffs, Hard breakdowns great lyrics...Apparently, they enjoy keeping me as a fan cause they keep the same sound in their music and still switch it up to blow me away. PWNT!

Lol? Have you tried playing it or at least looked at the tab? You have to play it like that because the pinky is being used.

totally man. can easily use your pinky to play that. great song. i recently discovered these guys and i have to say im very impressed. there are few bands that can mix shred and heavy breakdowns while keeping the song energetic. and i can see y the singer might get a bad wrap but i love it.

man, its not all about positioning, its about tone, tapping makes the tone a hella lot smoother sometimes, if you wanna try to play it and use your pinky and slide or watnot, i can GUARANTEE it wont sound like the song...its like chromatic tapping, how it makes the "extra" notes sound smoother without having to slide

and besides, its Unearth, theyre supposed to LOOK cool while making brutal music!!

i got the chance to see them Oct 10th with Protest the Hero, Acacia Strain, Whitechapel and Gwen Stacy...AWESOME show!! but not nearly as epic as the Bodom/Between the Buried & Me/Black Dahlia Murder show

Musically pretty good, but the vocalist is...awkward...I think Bjorn Strid would be a good fit here....The screamer's singing voice is good, but his "scream" is pathetic...

I think they're more like yells rather than "singing". I think his screams are great, and he should do it more than yell. That's one reason Giles is better than this.

btw i also happen to know how to play this song, and although tapping looks and sounds way cooler, you can just shiftslide your pinky to get the sharp. I tap it too, im just saying you dont HAVE to tap it, have some diversity in your playing...
